The Key To Racing Success

Hi everyone let me take this opportunity to say thanks for becoming a members and joining our team here at FL Horse Racing Software. I hope by now you have all managed to have a good look inside the members area.

The members area is there for your benefit so please if you have not done so, head over and watch the training center videos.

Also by now you should have had a good look at the software and Im hoping youre all managing to get to grips with it. Im considering a training day which would be available for any members who would like to come up to meet me and to spend the day running through all the features of the software at great length and also learn how to get the most from it. At this stage this is just an idea however if enough people wanted this I would certainly put something down on paper for them to get the ball rolling.

For those members who have not updated the software since downloading, please log in and click the Update button on the left hand side of the software.

We have made some updates over the course of the weekend which will speed up the software considerably. Any users who find they get an error message when updating will need to uninstall the Software from your PC and download the latest version direct from the Members Area. This can be found under the Software Downloads Introduction tab. Please remember if you have the miss fortune of using windows Vista like myself or windows 7 you MUST remove PROGRAM FILES during the installation process. The software will not function correctly if you do not remove the program files first.

Ive had a ton of emails from people saying that the software has only produces one or two selections for them. I must have sent out the same email at least 50 times explaining why. In the Training Center Video Selection Picker I run through and show you how to set up criteria within the Selection Picker and how to use the opponents rating. The Selection Picker will only select horses within the ratings which match all the criteria YOU have set within the Selection Picker.

If you have No Selections under the selections tab this maybe for two reasons.

The first you may not have clicked the Activate box from the Backing or Laying tab under the FL Horse Racing Settings. You must select activate otherwise no selections will be found.

The second is that none of the criteria set matches any races with horses running matching those criteria set today. I suggest trying different criteria other than the one I placed in the Selection Picker during the Training Center Video demo.

Try changing the Spread Rating or the horses points score from -3 to 0 then click the Refresh button within the selections tab to see if this matches any horses for the day.

Let me just say, the FL Software is a Form Reading Tool.

The software will allow you to find and spot a great deal of selections every single day, and with the Selection Picker set up with suitable criteria it will find selection at the click of a button. Trying to produce fixed setting for the Selection Picker is difficult for one reason people bet in different ways, the type of selections which may suit one person to bet may not be suitable for the next guy. However im already thinking of the best way to implement this in a future update.

What I intend to do is show a variety of different setting to provide different selection types to give users a better idea as to which type of setting may suit there betting style. You may be more of a risk taker when you bet and from that you may want to set criteria which selects a great deal of horses per day, on the other hand you may already have a type of system which you adhere to strict criteria and you may only look for one maybe two selections per day. This is why we made the Selection Picker flexible.

The software is not just a selections tool, if youre looking for something to spit out selections for you without doing any work yourself then Im afraid this isnt it. Once you find suitable criteria giving you an amount of selections per day you are happy with, then you dont need to set the criteria everyday as this is stored every time you open the software.

My idea behind it was to give users the ability to rate any UK Horse Race and to then provide them with enough data to be confident on any selection you choose to bet on. The Selection Picker was then built around the Ratings to allow fast accurate information to be displayed for you at the click of a button.

Over the course of the weekend we have had 4 members of staff including myself working day and night not only providing customer support but also making adjustments to the software, database and servers to make the whole process run more efficiently for all users. Due to the number of people logging in and downloading the rating over the first couple of days we had some issues with the server company keeping up with our demands. However now we have made significant improvements and we will continue to make improvements behind the scenes for the next week or so.

As well as having the software on your home PC or laptop we have decided to look into a web based application version. This means that even if youre not at home but you have access to the internet anywhere in the world you will be able to log in using the secure interface and use all the features of the software online. This is currently in the planning stage but I can assure you this will happen in the near future.

As Im sure your all aware the software is packed full of features some of which you may not even have used or notices yet again this is why I went to all the effort of putting videos together to give you a good overview of the main features within the software. Over the next couple of week I will be working on additional videos to hopefully cover a few areas in greater detail as I think some people have struggled getting to grips with some features. Please be patient as Im still working on day to day aspects of FL as well but as soon as I have a new video for you all I will post on the blog letting you know.

Ive had a few great emails from people who have took the software by the reins, pardon the pun and have used the software to make plenty of selections, whether it be Backing Laying or Dutching. Ive had members who are using the overview menu to select winners. This feature gives a precise look at the horses ability over a number of filters and how successful they have been in the past. One guy sent in an excellent email about using the software for dutching selections and he had 10/10 success with the software in the first couple of days. I hope you can now see the flexibility of the software, from the Ratings, to the Overview Menu, Selection Picker Combined Stats and Details Filters.

The software is not just a Laying tool as some people may think it has far more going for it than that. I think some members have mainly been thinking about Laying only which is fine if you just want to Lay horses. Members who know about reading form will be able to take it and not only save themselves time and effort but to be more confident in not only their selections but to be able to see the competition in a whole different light.

During the design process the software designer and myself worked closely together to create a tool which was simple to use and could hopefully be used by novice to professional punters alike. My goal was to base the entire software around a series of ratings and from there to study greater aspects of a horses history as well as look at key factors which determine how a horse may or may not perform today. I brought in one of the best software designers/programmer to work very closely with me to create this product for myself and you guys in total we have spent 7 months on development weekends and very late nights have gone into this product.

We already have a long list of new features which we will be introducing as soon as possible this will be ongoing as I have a lot more planned for you guys and Im sure you wont be disappointed once you see the features we have in store to make FL Horse Racing Software the best weapon in your armoury.
